Dear Artisans,
Dan Kosta is a legend of Sonoma and the Russian River Valley. From the humble beginnings of a hand-crank crusher in 1997 to co-founding a Pinot house that eventually earned Wine Spectator's #1 Wine of the Year — the highest honor in the industry — his palate is unrivaled. Now, alongside winemaker Shane Finley (formerly of Paul Hobbs and Lynmar), Dan is convening the finest fruit from elite Sonoma sites into something more purposeful than ever before.
The result is Admire — the entry-level bottling of the Convene project, and the wine Wine Spectator just named Value Pick of the Week in the June 3, 2026 Insider Weekly Pinot Noir edition.
