A Personal Note
Dear Artisans, These three 100-point scores, across four legendary Casanova di Neri Brunellos are expected from the Neris. We are offering the greatest vintages of the last decade, all with bottle age you cannot buy back. The double-100 Cerretalto 2019, the Falstaff-100 Tenuta Nuova from the historic 2016 vintage, the Tenuta Nuova 2017 with a secret inside, and the 98+-point White Label that introduces the house. Giovanni Neri founded the estate in 1971; his son Giacomo has led it since 1991, now alongside the third generation. Christine, Joe and I have had the pleasure of sitting down with Giacomo, Giovanni, Gianlorenzo and Marianna Neri multiple times, stateside and in Montalcino, and they are a truly special, wonderful family: warm, exacting, and single-minded about giving the world great wine while elevating all of Montalcino with them.
