About the Producer:

We are a family business located in Lignieres-Sonneville, in the centre of Grande Champagne in France. Our family, Maison Dudognon, has been producing Cognac since 1776. Over the generations, we have nourished and worked the soil, respecting the delicate balance of the soil to produce quality grapes.

We have been feeding and tilling the land for several generations while respecting the fragile balance of the soil. We are winegrowers and take care of the vines.

The main grape variety of our estate is Ugni Blanc and in recent years, we have replanted Folle Blanche and Montils, grape varieties abandoned after the phylloxera crisis but well present in the Charente about sixty years ago.

The harvest is carried out mechanically and in several stages. Folles Blanches, early varieties, are harvested first and vinified separately. Then comes the turn of the Montils and the Ugni Blanc. We thus obtain white wines with a wide aromatic range for distillation.
