The 2024 Admire Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir reflects a simple idea that has guided Dan Kosta's career from the beginning: great Pinot Noir starts with a deep respect for the grape. After helping establish one of California's most influential Pinot Noir legacies, Kosta launched Admire as a more personal expression of that lifelong passion. The result is a wine that draws on decades of experience while remaining focused on accessibility, balance, and the distinctive character of the Sonoma Coast. Admire is sourced entirely from Sonoma Coast vineyards, where cool Pacific influences help shape some of California's most compelling Pinot Noir. The region's extended growing season allows fruit to develop flavor and complexity while preserving the freshness that defines the appellation. That natural balance has made Sonoma Coast a benchmark for New World Pinot Noir and an ideal canvas for Kosta's measured approach. The 2024 vintage remains true to that vision. Composed of 100% Pinot Noir, the wine was harvested in early September and aged for nine months in French oak, including 30% new barrels.
