About the Winery:
The Rivetti family story begins in the 1890s, when Giovanni Rivetti, left Piedmont for Argentina. Like many Italians then, he dreamed of returning a rich man, perhaps even one day able to make great wine in his homeland. He never did, though his son, Giuseppe “Pin” did.

In 1985 La Spinetta made its first red wine, and acclaim soon followed as owner / winemaker Giorgio Rivetti's magic touch with Nebbiolo took the world by storm. He produces approachable yet age-worthy wines that capture the attention of wine critics and consumers year in and year out with their opulence, concentration, aromatics and length. Whatever Giorgio touches turns to gold as his Barbarescos and Barolos are the Ne Plus Ultra of their category, as confirmed by Wine Spectator Magazine and Wine Advocate.

Ratings & Reviews

90 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:

Lightly sweet and gently sparkling, the 2025 Moscato D'Asti Bricco Quaglia pours a bright pale silver/yellow hue and remains one of the most charming wines in the range year after year. Aromas of lychee, dewy fresh flowers, peaches, white pepper, and candied citrus lift from the glass. Medium-bodied, it’s refreshing and clean, with a refined mousse and a crisp finish.
